Spotlight Cow: "Batgirl"
Batgirl
Today Bradshaw Cattle Co. has decided to feature "Batgirl" as our spotlight cow of the week. Batgirl is a 5-year-old Brangus cow weighing about 1200 lbs, producing quality calves each year. She is a sweet, gentle cow, but also very protective of her babies. Her mother was "Crazy Red", she carries that same attitude in protection of her calves.
Her milk production is consistent, each year allowing her calf to get the nutrients it needs to grow healthy. Her name is Batgirl because of her mask marking on her face. She is typically one of the first girls up to the feed bunk when the truck pulls in the pasture.
